I have room for 5 more!I have room for 5 more!I have room for 5 more!

Half price - for you only!
1. USB ports are hard to come by
2. how to properly ride in a rickshaw without being tossed out head first when it screeches to a halt
3. rear-view mirrors, signal lights, and seat belts are not needed to drive; only the horn is essential
4. (for women) baring one's shoulders is inappropriate although baring one's stomach is expected (no matter what your age, shape, or size)
5. if it sounds like a cat, it's probably a peacock
6. Ferari makes a minibus (who knew?)
7. Nepali people think that the French only say "oh, la, la"
8. You can fit up to about 15 people in a five-person car
9. not all hotels include toilet paper in the price
10. "gorgeous weather" in India means cloudy, with lots of rain
11. Everyone has a relative in Toronto
12. that "Fully Air-Conditioned" is both a valid and extremely proud school slogan
13. how to properly care for henna
14. that having a spicy Indian breakfast, driving through the desert, and riding and elephant up a mountain in 50 degree heat is a sequence that induces nausea and should be avoided
15. Lush products do not stand up to heat (our puddle of soap will attest to this...)
16. Oakley's sunglasses:
a) make a great hairband
b) protect your eyes from sand and grit in a duststorm
c) do not break when the car you are travelling in goes over a speedbump at 80 km/hr. and you smash your head (where they are perched) on the roof of the car
d) leave ridiculous looking tan lines
17. Coppertone sport does not cut it in the desert...and that whole sweatproof/waterproof thing is just a lie
18. on a one-lane highway, everyone likes to drive in the centre - in both directions - making for a terrifying game of Chicken every, oh, five seconds or so

There will surely be more to come...

BTW....we are in Agra, home of the Taj Mahal. We are going to be visiting it at sunrise tomorrow. A USB connector for our memory cards is still MIA, but we really do promise we will post pictures as soon as possible. The last place we were at had one but it was broken, hence the title of our last post...satisfied, Peter??
