Taj Mahal Pervy Driver and Cancelled Flights

What should have been a fantastic day out was spoiled by the driver of our tour. The day before he seemed very friendly, wanting to help but a few little alarm bells were ringing/. We thought it was a 2 and half hour journey was 5+ and the friendly driver turned in to some sort of perv. telling us things we didnt want to know. We were both getting worried so read up on what to do when we stopped for lunch. We made a code word in case we felt in danger and had a plan to "escape". Digusting man!!

The Taj Mahal was beautiful and difficult to fnid the right words to convey how amazing it really is. Some people wanted their photo taking with us which was funny, got some great photos but cant get them online right now.

We ended up being dragged round shops with the driver til we said no more!! He didnt' seem happy and he certainly wasn't happy when we refused to tip hm at 1am the following morning! grrrr

Mumbai? How come we aren't there? Got to the airport at 5am and saw our flight was cancelled. After a quick panic we decided to change flights but got to the reservation office and found an angry very noisy mob of indian men shouting and screaming at the reservation staff because of the cancelled flight. It was scary but managed to get to the front to change our flights to Chennai - talk about spur of the moment but haven't regretted it - its so much nicer and more friendly than up north!

Hello intrepid travellers, Nice to read your updates and I cant wait to see your photos when your able to get them uploaded. Its still bitterly cold over here but you didnt really want to hear that did you !! The most important thing to happen whilst you have been away is that Leeds Utd beat Manchester Utd so you can guess what a buzzy frame of mind I am in. I hope that pervert driver hasnt put you off travelling too much ? You should be used to that sort of driver with your experiences or travelling with me :D I am pleased your trip into Chennai has turned out to be worthwhile but i never thought I would hear you say (its so much nicer and more friendly than up north! ) I am available for 'Baz Taxi' duties the day you return to save you having to go long haul on the bus. I guess you would prefer that so let me know if you want to be picked up, if I dont hear from you then I will just turn up at Heathrow Terminal 2 next Monday at your arrival time as per your email you sent me with your itinery. Keep the updates coming xxxx
