Hi everyone,
Hope I’m not boring you all too much,but I’ll carry on because if nothing else it’s a good way of me remembering what we have been getting up to. Another fairly early start and our luggage packed up again ,we set off towards Jodphur. Unfortunately I seem to have developed a rather annoying cough.Definitely the result of all the dust and pollution. Also Pat is on the verge of Delhi belly but valiantly fighting it off at the moment. The drive was again just a succession of dangerous overtaking for a total of 6 hours. Luckily our driver is very good so we arrived safely.
This hotel is different again to all the others so far. It was originally built as a residence by a maharajah many years ago and his great grandson now manages the hotel with the family still livping here. As you can see it’s very grand and quite beautiful. Not much else to tell you today as we haven’t done much apart from sit in the car. Just about to have another curry ?if you wanted ,every meal could be a curry ,even breakfast?. it’s funny but you feel like you
have failed if you ask for English food,still never mind, better safe than sorry.
Just before I go , a few minutes ago we requested face flannels. The man appeared with two hand towels. No,we need face flannels I explained.Oh yes he said knowingly. A couple of minutes later he returned with the same hand towels .We don’t have face flannels,so now we have four hand towels.......oh boy !
