Lodi Gardens
Here is one of the giant tombs at Lodi Gardens, Delhi - there were bats living in the top This news is about yesterday, when we were in India. We found out we were staying in this lovely bungalow, the gardens were giant, and they had vegetables and fruit growing in every corner.
There are parrots all over the place and the food was al homemade, with fruits like papaya.
I was expecting quite a big airport, but it was quite small, the queues took hours and we took the unloucky queue.
But the best bit was driving to the bungalow! I don't think they have many road rules, there isn't any proper side of the road to drive on, and they drive right over the lines. every car had at least 3 dents in it. Oliver sat on the handbrake changing gear. You are allowed to drive from the age of 10. Our taxi driver was called Gelta.
While we were in India, we took a walk to the Lodi gardens, In the centre there were 2 giant tombs. There were lots of people drawing them. I have put a picture up of these tombs.
Now we are in Nepal, and I will tell you about that in 2 d or 3 days.
