First Day in Panchgani. Arrived last night knackered, battered, starved and frozen after a days journeying through valleys and mountains and roads less travelled.
Panchgani is so far a haven for our souls and senses. I feel right at home here, very comfortable and it’s so nice to have Belle, Bek and Adam here. It will give us a real chance to bond.
Belle is working on my hair right now, giving me a special do, in time for tea!
Andy is lying on the Bed, totally captivated by “Shantaram” (aren’t we all?)
“Initiatives for Change” is our host at Asia Plateau and with what I have seen so far, it’s a pretty good concept, I’m impressed by the architecture, the elaborate Gardens, there is even an Oval for Andy to run his laps in the morning, a tennis court, volleyball court, a room full of computers with internet access, Wi-Fi, 5 delicious meals a day, a tea room, a WASHINGMACHINE!!!, library, post office, the Asia Room, Africa Room, Australia Room, TV Room, Fairy Pond to name a few of the compounds facilities. If it wasn’t for our separate bedrooms (we are unmarried so aren’t allowed to share a room at MRA) I would believe we landed in heaven.
