We're here in Hong Kong having survived the 14 hour flight in an Airbus, squashed in like sardines! The food and service were good and our travel neighbours were a very pleasant New Zealand couple who have a 2000 acre farm near Albany, Australia.
the Hong Kong Airport is busy and very well organized. We were whisked through customs and got on a train to Kowloon which took only 15 minutes.
Our hotel is close to the water, so I am looking forward to walking around tomorrow to get my bearings.
Have arrived at the equivalent of 4.30 in the morning (8.30pm here), we are a little tired. I can't do these sleepless nights anymore!
More tomorrow...
