We dedicated our last day for Lantau Island! We took MTR to Tung Chung, then we queued for around 1 hour plus for the cable car to Ngong Ping Village. Can't believe the queue. There are a few other ways to reach Ngong Ping Village other than cable car, such as taking cab or other public transport. But there is 1 very interesting method: trekking! Yes, trekking haha.. I guess it will take me around 4 hours for one way journey from Tung Chung to Ngong Ping, but I really really really want to try! I think if I ever go to HK again, I will try the trek! It's so fun because you are surrounded by vast mountains. Imagine the euphoria.

The cable car queue can tell you how the situation in Ngong Ping village is. Crowded. There are a number of souvenirs shop with quite expensive price, a number of eating place, a Giant Buddha statue, Po Lin Monastery and Wisdom Path. We didn't get to go to Wisdom Path though cos we were rushing back to HK in order not to miss our flight.

Eventually we managed to came back to our hostel in time, took airport bus from Chungking Mansion, and had dinner at the airport.

Reached singapore past midnight, we took cab home. End of journey.
