I reached KL at 5.30am KL time (or 3am New Delhi time). The first thing I did was to print out my hotel booking and flight melb-syd booking. Then I realized I should've done it in Delhi because the internet rate and printing rate in KL is more expensive than Delhi. Anyway what’s done is done. After printing, I had my breakfast Nasi Lemak at Old Town While Coffee. After breakfast, I took skybus to KL Sentral and took prepaid cab to my hotel. I reached hotel at 10.30 and they told me to come back at 12 because the room was not ready yet. So I walked around the area around hotel, which is Chinatown. I woke up at 9 and quickly showered because I promised to meet my cousin online to buy some tickets for our Aussie trip. After showered, I dropped my dirty clothes to the laundry and went online. After discussion and research, we decided not to buy the ticket so soon because we were afraid that our original flight would be delayed hence we couldn't catch this flight. The same flight was delayed for 14 hours yesterday so we didn’t dare to take any risks. Then I went back to room to take some stuff before going for lunch. I woke up at 8.30, showered, went to use internet for 1 hour and had breakfast at Coffee house before meeting Gyaltsen. Our first destination was Qutub Minar at south delhi. His friend, Chel, joined us for the day. I'm so glad to have two guides in Delhi. From the metro station, we took the shuttle bus to Qutub Minar and paid Rs 10 for each person. Qutub Minar is one of the World Heritage Site, thus the entrance fee was Rs 250 for foreigner (same as Agra Fort and Red Fort), but it was only Rs 10 for local people. We spent one hour plus there. We had breakfast at Coffee House at basement (I had cheese omelets), then we talked to Tenzin about our room and told him we decided to move to Ga-Khyil. He suggested us to check other room in the monastery, but again I found little cockroach under the bed. So we checked-in at Gakhyil house, moved our bags, and checked-out from monastery hotel. After that we went to Rama Krishna Asharam Marg to shop for souvenirs at Main Bazaar. We got lost and spent almost 1 hour looking for the place. It was exactly behind metro station! We ordered breakfast to come at 8.30 but it only came at 8.45 so we only had 15 mins for breakfast before our rickshaw tour at 9. The nephew told us he couldn't join us for the day because he has urgent family matter to attend to, so the rickshaw driver was our unofficial guide. I gave them my laundry before we started our rickshaw tour. We visited Banaras University but we didn’t go into the buildings, Banaras was said to be the Oxford of Asia. Then we went to Siwa temple in the university, Monkey temple, a temple that has the map of india made of marble (I forgot the temple name), so-called UNESCO site for silk (bought a silk scarf for Rs 500), McDonalds for lunch, and back to the hotel to rest.
