The Old and the New

One of Hong Kongs newest and tallest skyscrapers as seen through the streets of one of the older downtown neighborhoods.

Herbal Medicine

After our trolley ride and stop for coffee and custard at a local Hong Kong eatery, we walked through the herbal medicine district. This is a collection of dried fish, which we will see much of during our walk.

Take Your Pick!

Again, you have a choice of many different types of dried marine life on this wall of products. The ones in the front are dried sea cucumbers. You notice they are a lot more money than the last photo. When you put these cucumbers back into water, we were told they expand substantially.

This store shows it all. Anything you need in the wholesale purchase of Chinese herbal products is here. After this we jump back on the coach for our return to the ship.

Dinner at Nobu

We were happy to return here from a very nice time last year. It is located in the Intercontinental Hotel about 15 minutes walking from the ship.

At 8:00 there is a very nice light show on the buildings across the river that lasts about 30 minutes.
