Great to meet up with Will and Kate again - expert guides. First, up the Peak fernicular, for a winter's misty view of the harbour and Kowloon. Crossed to Kowloon for electronics bargain hunting. Browsed the antiques markets in Mid Levels. Visited the giant bronze Buddha on Lama island. Watched the HK light show from Kowloon. Reflections: the HK ferry is still the best value ferry anywhere; streets of crowded people jostling, doing business, smoking; an air of confidence about the place.
