Wing/Ving Chun/Tsun search

Went over to Kowloon starting at Tsim Sha Tsui on a Wing Chun search today. The first stop was back to Mirador mansions for Ip Man Wing Chun. We searched forever trying to find it, everyone in the building purposefully pointed us in the wrong direction, but then the place where Bruce Lee first started has probably had it's share of tourists by now, and wants to be hidden, or at least the instructor does. But We found it nonetheless. It's on the 3rd floor of Mirador Mansions on Nathan Road. It was closed, and they answer would most likely have been No anyway, so we moved on.

Further up Nathan Raod there are a few small gyms offering 'practical Wing Chun' etc, but then suddenly, as Nathan Road forks you go down Gasgoine road and you find Leung Ting's Gym, the official HQ for Wing Tsun. After asking they let me watch a lesson (While Leanne used the internet and shopped some more at the Market ) and showed me some small bits, basic Chi Sau, explained some of the principles. The Sifu (Yeung Kai Kwong) was a very friendly approachable guy, and spoke great English. He said if I trained in England I'd be welcome there anytime.

In the gym I met Stephan (Who was training), an Austrian Guy (living above the gym for a while), he's off up North into Macau after HK, and an Aussie called Matt (Who was watching) He studies Bagua and Tai Chi Chu'an in Sydney, He's off to Vietnam with his Wife on the same day, at athe same time and with the same airline as Leanne and I, so I guess we'll meet up then. He mentioned that it would be good, In Oz, for us to go up to Cape Tribulation and Port Douglas.
