numbers You know it would make it much easier if you numbered these blogs - you don't have to use actual numbers just some sort of system so's I can remember what I've read. You can really tell you got a new nikki looking good

Strange creature - It looks very much like a possum - but don't know whether they are indigenous to Bali or not. However, that's my best guess!!
Cheers!

hope you enjoyed bali and all it had to offer..its one of my favourite places in all the world..kuta is mad, we made some good friends with the taxi guys..cipto the taxi driver made some money out of me on world cup bets..a mad but very funny guy... have some v happy memories of my wife and i getting very drunk in the wig-wam bar on legian st.
tripple bacardi for rp25.000..ahh happy days.
i see your having a bit of trouble with your insurance claim..some things never change..i've tried to find out what that creature in the cage is..no luck yet but i'll keep looking..i think matt's idea of the monkey and the cat could be a winner..lol
looks like an insurance man to me..
well thats my lot..take care and have fun..
billy.
RIP NIKKI SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT NIKKI.. MY WIFE AND I HAVE BEEN TO BALI TWICE AND THINK NIKKI COULD NOT HAVE PICKED A BETTER FINAL RESTING PLACE...SHE IS WITH THE GODS.

maul Just to put the words right definition of maul :- Verb
To wound by scratching and tearing i.e. "The man wasMAULED by a lion/bear/dog
to defeat heavily in a game or match
in Rugby :- Noun (ruck) a loose scrum formed around a player with the ball off the ground.
Just to keep your written English up to scratch
matt's theory It's a good theory but it does'nt really cover all the bits. I'm 5ft 2ins and have no eckimo genetic material so why am I not 5ft10 or 11 ?
Just a thought.
Now I'm really piqued wondering what the mentioned merlion looked like 'cos the pic in the blog is'nt the one mentioned.
Now I know you wo'nt put this in but Matt celebrated his 35th _ yes a whole quarter ofa century - last Saturday (12th) So send lots of feedback.
Writing in the third person past tense is stupidly easy - you just have to get your head around thinking of yourselves os someone else telling the story as in :- "he was" as opposed to "I am "
anyway carry on diving - it's got to be better than an old quarry near B'ham
Sees ya soon
Mum
welcome to malaysia Nice blog, even though I'm local from KL, but i haven't been to melaka since this few years lately. Just had some sweet memories there while i was a child with my family.
malaysian and dogs The muslim view dogs as unclean and usually they will avoid touching the dog because they had to watch their hands with earth and water.
The chinese lady is probably serving "halal" (legal) food cater for the muslims and therefore made that comment.
Not sure re:- Gecko's Hi you two,
Still at it I see ( having fun when the rest of us mere mortals stay here being boring) I'm not sure about that gecko - are they carnivorous or can we eat them. Either way I would'nt want one to pop round for dinner without being announced.
Just in case you forgot where England was there was an earthquake here yesterday morning ( that's Saturday - in case you forgot ) It happened in the southeast around Folkstone/Dover area. There was ONE casualty so it must have been extreme (not killed - just injured slightly )Now there's a thought - I wonder how gecko's cope with earthquakes or do they lose their tails (as opposed to heads )Now I' getting philosophical - time to go.

Sooo jealous :( That place looks amazing...forget Vegas, I'm booking a trip to long beach :) ...(but more likely gonna be a day out in the peak district)
gross exaggeration "Malaysian people see dogs as unclean. Yet they have goatsm sheep and cows walking the streets. Weirdos"..i think this is gross exaggeration hopefully rectified by this posting
You make me sick How dare you two swan about as brown as berries whilst the rest of us can only drool at the prospect? I think it's jolly unfair.
The scuba sounds like great fun and it's nice to see that you do eat apart from western franchise rubbish. Leanne looks really glam in her black outfit - it really goes well with the tan. See you next blog
out of the woods you seem to have recovered from the mishaps of your last stop.
good.
ankhor wat must be fascinating - at least it is to me never having visited.
a good relax would be good for you about now.
no comments no wonder you never have any comments - you just don't bother to put them on the blog - I've sentloads and a big fat zero appeared. people will think you don't read them.
must admit it sounds an improvement on other places you've been (loo and electricity rations notwithstanding) remember there are crofts in the wilds of scotland in very much the same position. hope sunburn turns brown but don't worry yp
ou can always get a fake tan in aussie
mozzy bites Hi both You sound like you're having great fun overall but on the subject of mosquito bites have you tried using lavender oil - it keeps most nasties away and smells nice too(to people anyway) should be quite cheap and use it mixed with some unscentd lotion (high spf factor) you can also mix it with cream (cosmetic variety) and slather it all over at night. It's supposed to also have calming effects and to help restful sleep. Then again if you're lucky perhaps the mozzies will just decide to leave you alone anyway.
silent roar just a little silliness- You canBuy Lion poo from Safari Park type places here and you just scatter a small amount in tubs and borders. I'm reliably informed that you won't have any problem with neighbourhood frisky felines. Don't worry I dont expect you to bring any back.
sure youre actually eating? 'm so rude. It's just like you look like youv'e added about 2 stone since you left. Obviously your'e not living on mc d's and almond snickers any more but assume youeither got your head round the translations or someone is doing it for you. Hope you're getting emails O.K. the polish lady looks very nice I can only assume that you werepaddling(hope camera is all right) weather at home is awful but sent a long email yesterday which I hope youv'e got now. I have'nt a clue about time differences so I just carry on as if it's the same time there. Let me know if you need anything.
Love as Always
