Binchuan or BustDay 1 Up at 6.50 for shower and breakfast. Then theory was that we would be away at 8.30, but as is usual it got to 9 'o' clock before we were off on our 200 mile + journey by coach to Binchuan. Lunch was had 10 miles before Binchuan at a restaurant which cooks fish caught in the lake outside. This was very good but we must have dawdled because when we got to Binchuan and our bikes put together again it was after 4.30. Theoretically it was 27k to Mt Jizu but it turned out to be 25 miles of hard climbing of well over 1100 m, to a height of 2,800m and we arrived in the dark at about 8 'o' clock. We were a bit strung out by then and am not sure that the leaders knew where the hotel was but we all struggled to find it. The Mt Jizu was not much of a jewel when it did appear, it was very stark and short of a good handyman but at least the shower was warm when we had obtained our missing towels. Bed at 11 pm and not a moment too soon - knackered.
