Chinese Trip to Chengjiang

After long absence caused by lack of a computer and all sorts of other problems, I'm back... Time for another post then.
It's a tradition in China (not in all places though) that from time to time, a boss of some company, within the framework of integration and having some rest, organizes a trip for all the staff. In the middle of May, we (me and 50 Chinese people) went to a small, quite charming place Chengjiang, famous for the lake, water attractions, shrimp pan cakes, "seafood", many kinds of fish, rice served with potatoes, lychee wine, meals made of lotus flowers and... green peas ice cream.
Yes... another Chinese abstraction 😊

So we set off in the afternoon, got to the place in the evening and after a short walk on the Chinese beach came time for a typical Chinese dinner. Of course full of Chinese meals and Chinese drinks. The conditions in which the food is prepared in most of those typical Chinese "restaurants" in this province are sometimes... at least shocking. It's hard to believe that in those street "kitchens" is made one of the best kind of food in the world.
On the next day, obviously swiming in the lake, chilling on the beach, Chinese boating and Chinese games which are all about brutal throwing people into the water. The more clothes on the person has, the bigger fun is. It's a miracle that only Yujun (the manager) came back with a broken phone... 😊 It's all about having a good time though 😊

Po dlugiej nieobecnosci spowodowanej brakiem komputera i masa przeroznych problemow, jestem z powrotem... Pora wiec na kolejny post.

Zwyczajem w Chinach jest (choc nie we wszystkich miejscach), ze raz na jakis czas pracodawca danego miejsca, w ramach integracji i drobnego odpoczynku, organizuje wyjazd dla wszystkich pracownikow. W polowie maja wiec wybralismy sie (ja i 50 Chinczykow) do malej, dosc uroczej miejscowosci Chengjiang slynacej glownie z jeziora, wodnych atrakcji, plackow z krewetek, "owocow morza", wielu rodzajow ryb, ryzu podawanego razem z ziemniakami, wina z lychee, potraw z kwiatu lotosu i... lodow o smaku zielonego groszku.
Tak... kolejna chinska abstrakcja 😊

Wyruszylismy po poludniu, dotarlismy wieczorem i po krotkim spacerze po chinskiej plazy przyszla pora na typowa chinska kolacje. Rzecz jasna same chinskie potrawy i chinskie trunki. Warunki w jakich przygotowane jest jedzenie w wiekszosci typowych chinskich "restauracji" w tym regionie sa czasami... conajmniej szokujace. Az trudno jest uwierzyc, ze w takich ulicznych "kuchniach" powstaja jedne z najlepszych potraw na swiecie.
Nastepnego dnia rzecz jasna kapiele w jeziorze, wylegiwanie sie na plazy, chinskie lodki i chinskie zabawy polegajace na brutalnym wrzuceniu kazdego do wody. Im ktos ma na sobie wiecej ubran, tym wieksza frajda. To cud, ze jedynie Yujun (manager) wrocil z popsutym telefonem... 😉 Grunt jednak to dobra zabawa 😊
