Tibet I miss you so so much!! Second day out and I miss you already. We named this pup Sanyo and he is way cool. He followed us throughout the 3 days on the trek. I almost died on the 2nd day of the trek (the hardest), which i blame on my unfitness, short legs and alttitude. Sanyo tagged along behind me though for most of the way.

this was our room in a shack in the mountain somewhere on the Kora. it was raining and cold. water was dripping from the ceiling to my mattress. my bed collapsed when I sat on it. There was no resentment at all, none whatsoever.

This guy was a regular friendly face on the Kora. He completed the 58km in one day and was on his way doing a second round. Doesnt look tired does he?

We befriended a group of Nepali guys who worked as guides and sherpas in Tibet. They were incredibly kind people who gave us food and tea whenever we camped near them/ whenever we met on the roads.

these guys live simple simple and basic lives. they live in the middle of nowhere by a lake and often approach jeep for things. where do they get their medicine? can they afford it even? there was one little boy who was born half blind and his eyes hurt and squint in the sun. a tibetan guide gave him a pair of sunglasses.

This guy has bright red braids. He looks like a warrior, and has an elephant ring that is part of his hairpiece. The ivory is brought from India.

In Asia, its perfectly normal for guys to hold hands or hug and be affectionate in public. And it doesn't mean they're gay.

Your photos and trip are absolutely amazing. I was going to say get better and better, but they were good to start off with. You have amazing stories to tell. Keep up the fun mate. I did not know that you had been gone for 10months!! Is that true? Boy does time fly. I have been away for 3 months now and i cant believe it. Things are great here. I just got back from a week in Switzerland staying with my cousin - i absolutely love Suisse. Cant wait to get back there. All the best mate, and i look forward to your next adventure.
