Hi All,

Yes good to be back in the saddle. Unfortunately it's not the saddle of a tibetan horse but a pushbike saddle. It brought back fond memories of Zhengzhou cycling around the city today. We did very well and didn't get lost once. We've decided to head back to Shaoyang once our time is up here in Chengdu.

We've visited a couple of temples today and had some excellent noodles for lunch and in the afternoon we went for a stroll around the Tibetan shops here. That's as close as we're going to get this year.

This evening we went to a Xinjiang restaurant near Sichuan University. The food was excellent. We has a big plate of chicken and potato cooked in a spicy sauce, some nan bread and lamb kebabs. Very nice.

I'm sat in the hostel foyer and I've just realised there are more foreigners in this small room than in the whole city where we live. It takes some getting used to seeing so many foreigners.

Anyway enjoy the photos and Jah bless
