Apparently we're going on a trip..

Today at lunch, a Senior 3 teacher named Susan came to talk to us, starting by saying "Hi! Good news!" She said the Senior 3 teachers are all going on a trip next Thursday-Sunday, and the headmaster has invited us. It was one of those situations where I don't think we really could have said no even if we wanted to. Well, we can always say 'no', as we're the foreign teachers. But, c'mon, who would pass up a free trip to another city in China and two days off teaching? Certainly not us! We don't really know any details, and probably won't until we get there (this IS China, afterall) but we're going to Hángzhōu in Zhejiang province, if you'd like to look it up. It's really close to Shanghai! Too bad we won't have time to go there also. 😞 All we know is that the school is paying for our flight up there and everything else...and it sounds like we'll just be doing a lot of sight-seeing. Woohoo, I love China!
