Saturday was a wonderful day. I finally got my internet set up! The computer guy, Ben, also said that he would go out with us that night and show us a good club. For the day, we had plans to go to the beach. I got outside the apartment building and it hit me. I am an idiot. I locked myself out again. Embarrassing. But Jeremyer said he wouldn't tell and we would call someone when we got back. So, okay, I was going to enjoy the day. We reached the Yellow Sea. Beautiful beach! Vendors everywhere though.

We played a ball game in the sea with some Chinese people. We'd just hit the ball up and everyone would splash so we couldn't see where it went. At the beach there was this tall tower and from it we saw people bungee jumping and zip lining across the beach. We just couldn't come to Dalian and not zip line. Quint, our smooth talker, negotiated them from 80 yuan a piece, down to 60 yuan a piece. "Everything is negotiable in China." And 60 yuan a piece is about 8 U.S. dollars, so, that's really good. And well worth it.

We walked around a bit after that and ended up losing Tyler for a while. We just thought that he had found another plant to examine so we gave him some time. (Plant nerd) Time went by and Mike went to go look for him. They came back about 10 minutes later looking a little upset. Tyler had stopped at one of these balloon-shooting booths and payed 5 yuan to shoot. He didn't think there was a limit so he was going at it and then turned to leave. She slapped down a piece of paper that said 280 yuan on it. He thought he had already payed up front and wasn't paying any more. Then she latched on him and started scratching him and, from what I heard, going ballistic. A security person started over and Mike handed her 200 yuan. So, lesson learned. They'll try to get everything they can out of you.

We walked around the area and ended up into what I think was People's Square. We walked along a giant scroll and watched the sea and the people. We even saw a guy taking a bath in the street.

We went around all the seafood places and for some reason, didn't stop in to eat. We stopped in a couple to look at the menu but neither restaurant we went into spoke any English at all. Not that they should, we should be able to speak Chinese. (wasteless americans...)

We got back in time to shower and then go out with Ben. We again loaded into a couple cabs and took them back downtown.

The club Ben took us to was amazing. Everyone was dancing, singing, having a good time. There were asians, russians, africans, and americans (us). Tyler, Mike, and Jeremiah were tearing up the dance stage with their smooth moves. We had a great time.

This is the part of the ocean that I ziplined over. I could see all the fish in the sea.

All of these men worked together to drag all this seaweed out of the ocean. Then they rewarded themselves by eating it. Good for health.
