Arrived in China

Flight was bearable, hotel fine. Beijing air quality despicable. The sun is a faint yellow glow in the sky only.
Traffic much like other big asian cities but more cars. No traffic rules at all it seems.
Backstreets (hutongs) narrow and full of character.

Going to the great wall tomorrow - will write again then.
