gloomy evening and massive china wall

its autumn in Bangladesh now. all gloomy from morning to evening and yup the
load-shedding!!! to get rid of all this troubles i thought of giving a visit to china. so
i turned on my PC and......started my journey. its not the first time that i am
visiting china. but don't know why i keep coming back again and again. the most
amazing thing that attracts me about china is of course the great wall. not
because that it is the longest man made structure ever but because it was built
over 2000 years ago. now in this modern world building something massive has
become quite simple as we have the smartest engineering tools in our hands. but
think about that time when the smartest tool was a hammer and the strongest
element was stone. and there was no engine as well. when there was so little
privilege and the creation is gigantic then you can actually feel the greatness of the great wall of china.
though it was not build in a single piece, rather it was built in sections from
the qin sin huang, who started building the wall to protect china from the
attack of the north, to the min dynasty. when all the sections were joined
together, it became the ultimate wonder of man kind. mostly wood, stone and earth were used for the construction and to bind them
all together they used rice flour(what!! really!!). more than one million
people died during the construction. that's why its also called the longest
cemetery of the world.there is a popular story about a lady which really
touched my heart. her husband died during the construction and she wept so hard
that the wall collapsed revealing the bone of her husband and then she buried
him. the massive strength of the great wall the unforgettable love of that wife really made my day. hope to see you again while visiting another part of the world. till then ta da.
