China Day 5 - China Life

Today we when to the Temple of Heaven followed by a rickshaw pedicab ride trough the Hutong (Chinese alleyway). The highlight was the opportunity to visit a family in the Hutong and browse the Hutong Village (very much like Venice Beach, California). For dinner we had a Peking Duck Dinner Party. Most of us were not impress with the Dinner this night.

Hi Family & Friends, This is new for me. I’m about to set off on my first trip out of the United States with a group of neighbors and friends. I feel a little like Alice in the looking glass. It starts with the feeling of angst and “ oh my stars, what am I doing”. But I feel you get to a point in life where you just know it’s the right thing to do. As the saying goes, “Life is short”.
