China Day 4 - Great Wall

Today we headed out of the city to the Great Wall of China. It was mind blowing. The climb was totally exhausting and difficult. I do not recommend the climb for older people or people with difficulty walking, during the June - July time of year. It was very hot and humid. I would have thought they would have picked a better location for people to view and have an easier access to the wall. The saying in China is even if you take one step, you are a man. After climbing for an hour, I would hope I'm a giant of a man.

Hi Family & Friends, This is new for me. I’m about to set off on my first trip out of the United States with a group of neighbors and friends. I feel a little like Alice in the looking glass.
