Overcast?

I have not been here a long itme, but my first impressions of Beijing include the following: not sure who is more crazy - the pedestrian or the driver; Beijing is either very smoggy, or very overcast or both; it smells like smoke - yet I have only see two people smoking.

Hailed my first taxi in the city - much nicer than the New York cabbie. Also, I bought beer at the local convenience store - 2.10 yuan (7.6 yuan = $1) good deal!!!
