My Tree
This is before they attacked it!!!! So here's the simplicity of the story made sweet and simple, so I try.
About a month before Christmas I start looking for ideas to make a tree. At first I didnt even know that Christmas trees existed and then later I find It's a erected Cypress tree. No way! So I stick with the plan to make a cylinder type tree. I buy chicken wire, string, tools, and other stuff.
Bad idea with the tree. Actually it was a good idea but limited on tools and magic pretty much. I know my work has a tree so I decided to "borrow" it. Trying to keep it low budget and creative i made most of the decorations. Also the fact that I had NO IDEA where to get the real Christmas decorations added to the fact of homemade always looks better.
My coworkers have never decorated a tree nor celebrated it too. They went crazy!!! We spent about a week making the decorations at work, "borrowed the tree", and we all came back and decorated. The Chinese like things a little gaudy/gaudi. I told them whatever they wanted. That was a BIG surprise. They decorated everything from the

makin homemade dumplings! walls to the doors to the tree and had a blast!!!!!! It was so much fun watching them. I was stringing more popcorn and they're hanging garland on the walls, smiling the whole time. They had this amazing childlike look in their eyes and waiting for the bell to ring too. They kept looking at me as if they were doing it right...there's no right way. Just do it, Nike!
When all was said and done it looked like someone puked, "party" in my flat!! I loved it!!! The tree still stands as I use it as a night light.
Christmas is here!!!! My peeps start arriving at about 2pm. She's getting ready to make homemade jio zi/dumplings. A few more arrive a few hours later and that was the night. We played games, took many pics for most have never seen a proper Christmas tree, sang songs, and ate!!!! They didnt think I was serious about everyone bringing a dish to share so they ended up going out and buying more food! And the eating continued. the seeds are really popular and they spit them everywhere. It is the culture!!!!!!! They spit on my floor, the shells
