Cambodia is becoming one of the top spots in the world for corporations to settle their factories. Companies such as Gap, Nike, and Wal-Mart have their factories all around Cambodia. Not many people in the world know about the suffering and effort that workers in these sweatshops put into the work. The workers are in harsh conditions all day. These workers are willing to work for only $40 dollars a month while the company makes millions and millions of dollars from these workers. They work 12-14 hours a day. Around 90,000 people work in these factories. A lot of these factories provide protection for the workers unlike other factories around the world. If the owners fail to pay their wages, they can end up in jail. This shows how serious the companies are in taking care of their workers although their pay is very minimal.
