Today was another early one as we were off to a temple called angkor wat to watch the sunrise.

We left about half five as.had to.ensure.we had a.good spot we had a.local guide with.us who had a secret spot as everyone.gathered on.the other side. I had my lovely new elephant.pants on (every traveller has to have a pair).

We arrived in.the dark so didnt have a.clue what the temple.looked like. We waited patiently and was definatly worth it. The sunrise looked so.pretty as the angkor wat reflected.on the lake. The.colours were lovely. After it.became light we then had.a.guided tour around the temple.which was.split into three. We all made it around even to.the top which.included.some.very steep thin steps. We took lots of pictures.

The.next stop was the temple were a.part of tomb raider was filmed apparently. Trees had risen from the ground and were growing on top of buildings. Hard to describe so will add some pictures.

We then went for late lunch had.another yummy curry(will def be putting on weight).

Nothing was planned.for.mid afternoon so Dave (our ceo) mentioned.quad biking surrounded by rice fields and nearby village to watch the sunset.

I.had.never really thought about doing it.but didnt wanna miss out on an amazing experience. We could only.get six.bikes luckily some of.the.group didnt want to do it therefore the lads could.have their own.bikes.and drive around.like.nutters. I shared a.bike.with hollie. She drove.intially and we drove around all together the views were really nice. The weather was warm fields surrounded us with little.villages between. The group then.spilt so.the lads could do more.off road.riding they came back full of mud.Daz loved.it

.me,Hollie.and Naima then drove through fields and attempted water but first quad got stuck. We got to a good spot and watched the sunset.was an even prettier view than the sunrising. Cambodia is just amazing.

We all had shower as we were dusty and muddy. Went out to a local resturant and then on to bar street. Had a little boogie in temple bar and angkor WAT (as we call it) and few sambukas (way stronger here) was really good nite as we all bonded. We worked out we had been awake 21:30 hrs, it took us a while to work that out. We had earlier bought some fried beetles and spider as daz.tends to do anything people say. I had a beetle was actually really tasty. Daz kept.spider till end of the night and had it for his supper. By his face i dont think he enjoyed it. But he happy he tried everything he wanted. We went to bed knowing we didnt have to be up for Today was another early one as we were off to a temple called angkor wat to watch the sunrise.
