Hi everyone, hope all is well in the sweltering UK.

Sorry its been a while since the last one but we've just been too wrapped up in the beauty of Cambodia, Vietnam and the World Cup.

Here's our adventures from Cambodia:

After arriving in Siem Reap from Bangkok we headed straight for Angkor Wat - an amazing 12th century templed site, set amongst a beautiful lake and tree-lined walkways. We spent 3 wonderful days here exploring the many temples but Angkor Wat itself was the most awesome - especially at sunrise.

A classic moment occured on our last day when after hiking to the sites highest point to catch sunset, the heavens opened and huddled together with more than 20 monks we tried in vain to find shelter!! After braving the slippery slope down, we fought off the T-shirt and umbrella sellers and collected our bikes (which by this point were knee deep in rainwater) to cycle home!!

Our memorable 4 day stay in Siem Reap was topped off by the warm hospitality of our guesthouse owners who had a love for English cockney slang.

Moving on to the capital city, Phnom Phen, here we visited the Killing Fields and the S21 prison - a moving experience which really made us appreciate the warmth and friendliness of the people even more.

We are now close to the end of our Vietnam stay and so the next blog will come from Hong Kong before we set sail for Africa......only 7 weeks to go until we're back on home soil!!

We bid you farewell and here's to Italy winning the World Cup (Nathan has now fully converted).

Lots of love Nathan & Anna XXXXX

p.s. a surprise is in store for the next blog so keep logging on to find out......
p.p.s. Happy Birthday Leon 'Late Twenties' Warner - have a great time. Your Cricket Juice Drink is in the post.
