Kids take over the tuk tuk
Spent the last three days here in Sihanoukville. First day was in the beach Occhateaul. Its very touristy and you get bombarded with the people wanting to sell everything. Apparently they can tell who is 'Fresh off the boat'. I now have a wrist strap and can get any sort of sunglasses under the sun. We are trying to be opened minded but the place does appaer to be pretty dirty, as in rubbish, but I guess we live among the best coastlines in the world so we try not to be too judgemental. Went out for dinner the first night any everyone does a BBQ menu, however when you see the big fat blowies buzzing around in the food display cabinet you tend to lose your appetite. But THIS family is made of sterner stuff and.... beers are 50 cents at happy hour!

Today we went out to Otres beach. The road is rough , bouncy and dirty but this also stops the place being crowded. The beach was nice but erosion has started earlier than usual and the owners are frantically trying to halt the beach from taking part of the cafe fronts away.We were told to go

to a bar/cafe hut called Cory's which we found and set up camp for the day. We talked to the tourists who have stayed or are working in this secluded part of Sihanoukville and they are , shall we say 'Laid back, chillout sort of dudes. wink wink nudge nudge!
We enjoyed lazing on the beach and the water was so warm. The kids had a ball. One more day to go befroe we head back to Phnom Penh. Until then -take care
