Fun and Sun in Sihanoukville

To tell you the truth the 5 days that i spent in Sihanoukville were pretty uneventful. This is shown by the lack of pictures that I posted. Sure i spent plenty of time on the beach and also plenty of time on said bars on the beach but as far as doing anything of cultural relevance, it just didn't happen. My day would usually start at around 11 or 12 followed by a quick lunch/breakfast and then on to the beach to be repeatedly begged for money by amputees or to buy bracelets from little kids. This got old rather quickly but to tell you the truth it was more sad then anything. I was also constantly asked if i wanted my chest waxed with some string and baby powder, i don't know how it works but it looked extremely painful!! After my 4 to 5 hours on the beach i would head back to my room for a quick nap and then out to the first happy hour bar for drinks and food. Where or what time it would end is anybody's guess. That is pretty much a summary of the entire week. The one thing that i did get accomplished was sorting out my Vietnamese visa which wasn't as big a deal as i thought it would be. Back in Phomn Pehn now for a few days (my third time here) and to see all of the sights that i haven't seen yet (which is most of them) Sorry to put forth an uninteresting blog but thats whats happening with me.
