Im in cambodia! Just arrived at a cool beach resort to chill out for a few days, sea is lovely and warm. The last week has been pretty hetic. Singapore was cool, very similar to london, had a good couple of good nights out, swimming pools in clubs, reverse bungees etc etc. Bangkok is crazy, had an encounter with some ladyboys on the first night, not cool. Watched the footy (Nice one woody!) whilst downing these beer towers, bascially your own personal keg and tap at your table. Felt really sick when we crossed the cambodian border, actually thought i was going to throw up infront of the police when they were checking my passport. We then had a 6 hour bus ride along the most pot holed road in the world, with no air-con and landmines in the fields beside it, a real experience. Visited the temples of Angkor Wat which were really spectacular, also visted this floating village on a huge lake, something out of waterworld, quite depressing though all these 8 yr old kids literally floating around in tin buckets trying to sell you stuff. Have tried tarantula, and a boiled egg with a baby chick in it! was really disgusting. Stayed at a homestay last night which was really good, played footy barefoot with some cambodian kids, reckon ive broken my foot now though because of it. Got a day trip planed to 'bamboo island' tommorow to do a bit of snorkelling, which should be cool, then heading back to Phnom Penh to visit the killing fields and fire some bazookas. Hope everyone is well. Miss u all, much love Will x
