Lazy day today, lie in, food, internet, reading and t.v. I noticed on Facebook that Natalie and Ryan who we met in Langkawi in January were also in Siem Reap, quelle coincidence!! So we arranged to meet up in the evening. They came to our hotel at 7 and we went out on the town.

Siem Reap is a lively little place on an evening, loads of bars/cafes selling 50cent beers 😊 We had food in one of these places which was alsi full of freebies; free rice, free popcorn, free fruit salad and BOGOF offers-bargain. The bars are really nice and modern. Some of them had very odd things on the menu though, snake and croc urgh! Natalie and Ryan are staying at a GH that breeds crocs and has about 50 in a pool (!?) out back, guess I know where they end up! Ryan decided to try feeding them veggie pizza when he got back and convert them to herbivores....

The second bar we went to (due to it's pool tables) was more like a club pumping out western dance music. Rob and Ryan played winner stays on with what was seemingly a group of prostitutes. Rob hit a winning streak 😊 After a few games we moved onto a quieter bar and Rob and Ryan played a couple more games of pool with a French couple while me and Natalie had a good old natter. Robby was happy with his 9:3 win:lose ratio at the end of the night. It was about 01:45 when we finally left, Robby looking like a hangover was already looming. Had a really good night and was great to see some familiar, friendly faces 😊
