Rob was less than smiley when he woke up this morning. We had to be up at 8am to catch the bus to Phnom Penh and he was feeling very sorry for himself. Orange juice, water, rehydration sachet and paracetamol later he managed to get up out of bed though a constant look of pain was etched on his face! I was feeling a little less than perky as I'd only managed to get about 2hrs sleep, think it may have been due to the amount of caffeine I'd ingested!

Tuk-tuk took us to bus which was quite nice, clean with comfy seats. Rob managed to get some shut eye and felt a little better by lunch stop. I just had rice but Rob treated himself to sweet and sour a la bones (aka pork) and rice :P Bus trip of about 5hrs 30 went quite quick and once in Phnom Penh we got a tuk-tuk (with an odd rip off driver that charged us double and stopped halfway to GH to randomly ask how many days we were staying and if it was hotter here than Siem Reap...just do your job and drive mister).

GH family are really nice and our room is huge and has a king size bed and a double bed, T.V. had loooads of channels and aircon works. We're not in the main centre which is near the river as it was too pricey so it's mainly locals round and about. Finding tea proved a task as with it being NY and not a tourist place there wasn't much open and those that were had some very "select"options such as bowels urgh. Ended up in the Cinema Club Cafe and we both ordered peppered chicken, they bought us free tea bless but the chicken was awful, all fat and bone, I didn't even attempt it. Found a shop nearby selling biccies though so I filled up on them ;P

We were supposed to get visas for Vietnam here and wash our clothes (we smell!) but as it's NY nothing is open till Monday 😞
