The article talks about a tragic accident that killed many factory workers from Bangladesh. The owner of the building has built more floors that could not support the weight of the heavy machinery; as a result, the building broke apart and many people died. After this incident, the government has decided to allow trade unions without the permission of the owner. Also, these workers have been given a raise in their monthly pay. The rights of the workers were violated. It violated article 23, which is everyone has the right to work, to free choice of employment, to just and favorable conditions for work and to protection against unemployment. These workers received less than minimum wage and had to work long harsh hours to provide for their families. I think the right thing to do right now is to make a treaty or agreement where the workers get to have better working conditions and pay.
