Stratford-Upon-Avon 005
Me and James being nice to each other Today led me on yet another journey, to Stratford-Upon-Avon ... the birthplace of Shakespeare. Known for it's "shakespearan" feel, we visited all sorts of sites. We saw Shakespeare's birthplace, viewed his tomb at Trinity Church, stumbled upon the tomb of Buzz Goodbody (I have no clue who this is but there was certainly a creepy grave marker), we walked the length of the Avon River and puttered around the crowded tourist town. It was a nice day away.
Last night I saw the Sound of Music in London. It was incredible! I actually felt as if I was in occupied Austria and the kids were as cute as I expected. Alas though my job is never done ... off to get yet another disco going.
