Trafalgar Beach holiday

TRAFALGAR DAY 1
02 MARCH 2009
After the conference cruise on the Melody Charl my husband picked me up from Durban harbour and we drove towards trafalgar beach! this hidden beach is 120 KM from Durban south coast of Kwa Zulu Natal we were basically between Margate and Port Edward-

We arrived at our beach house which we rented for the whole week-to my surprise it was a big house nice garden and you could see the sea in a distance as well-loads of vegetation green plants banana plants very tropical beautiful forests!In the forest there were monkeys and little bambi's very cool-
the local pub was empty most of the times i think because of the low season-the local grocery shop was stocked with everything but very pricey luckily we bought everything form Pretoria!
As soon as we got home i went for a snooze as i was literally finished that boat trip the previous 2 days really got me! i slept for 2 hours or so...BIG MISTAKE! As i woke up i felt worse! but at least i was a little more relaxed-
We decided to eat something and then go to the beach!!
Wow! beautiful sand-nice weather and nobody there! thats my kinda of thing!

Early night for us the first night! went to bed at 20H00!

DAY 2
03 MARCH
Early rise! nice coffee some jam and bisquits had a nice shower and got ready for the day!
Charl had is big brekfast with everything on !
After the breakfast we got ready for the beach-we parked and went for a walk,very beautiful day blu sky and the sun was already shining high! we made sure we protected our selves with sun screan +40! as is not cool to burn..we were sitting in between the rocks admiring the sea! what a beautiful way to start the day! Walk on the beach-
We stayed untill 12H00 we were getting rather thirsty by that time so we decided to make a stop at the pub for some beer!
After a refreshing beer it was defenetly time for lunch! we went back home and made some lunch
In the afternoon Charl decided that the morning was rather tiring walking on the beach staring at the sea....so off he went for an afternoon snooze-while i was reading my Richard Branson 2000 pages book! quite a thick one!

Charl oke up from the dead! we decided to stay indoor and start braaing early-

early night again-

DAY 3
04 MARCH
Bad weather! oh..well- at least that gave us a break from the sun 😊 we decided to go to the wild Coast Sun to check it out-
not a good idea didnt like it at all-Full of games for kids and casino not so mch to do rather boring,,,
by 13H00 we left and went to Port Edward to explore the little town- as it was still raining we could only drive through-We decided to stop at the local restaurant/pub to have something to eat i had a very nice waffle and ice cream Charl had a chicken and mayo sandweach
we drove back at it will still raining
No braai tonight!

DAY 4
05 MARCH
glorius day! which means sun tanning ! so off we went nice walk and just relaxed in the sun! for a good 5 hours-
went back for lunch and decided to go back to the beach for a long walk on the other side-

DAY 5
06 MARCH
Last day! already having a good tan! we went to the beach early and got back at 12H00 i told Charl-if we leave now we will be in Pretoria by 20H00 tonight! so he looked at me and said-Well..then lets go! so we packed everything and decided to travel then instead of the Saturday morning the trip seemed very long we travelled 760 KM arrived in pretoria at 09H30 that night-
we were happy to get home as we missed our kitty! So we had more time for the home duties...😞 we defenetly will go back to trafalgar it was truly a relaxing holiday!
