Zimbabwe is a country in poverty, mostly thanks to bad government and corrupt leadership. The Mugabe government began seizing white owned commercial farms; this sent the countries economy into a free fall. The country responded to this by printing more money. There is a bill that says $10 million but it is worth about 40 American cents. The leader also cut the county away from the rest of the world. About 3 million of Zimbabwe’s population as left the country. Nearly half the nation is malnourished and major hospitals have stopped performing surgeries because of a lack of anesthesia. Because the bad government the county is slowly collapsing and is getting into deeper and deeper poverty.
