Hey everyone! Well we arrived in Zambia last week & feels like weve been here for ages already! Had a hectic weekend, starting with bbq/boozer with all volunteers, then we went over to Zimbabwe for the weekend. We went on a lion walk which was amazing - we were lying and cuddling 3 lion cubs (although they were already quite large!!) We then went on a horse riding sarafi which was ok but ended up with a v sore ass! Then on Sat nite we went for a traditional african dinner called a boma - they served us crocadile, ostrich, warthog & we even ate a worm - which was gross but we got a certificate! Then we saw Victoria Falls which were awsome - much bigger than we expected - got some ace photos (will try to put some up when we get back to James as internet quite slow here!)
Back in Zambia now and we went to see our school called Nakatindi today - we are teaching Grade 4 (Chris) which is 10ish year olds & Grade 7 (Laura) which is 13 - 22yrs! The head teacher seems really nice & every1 says the school is great so we should be ok -bit scared bout teaching lessons on our own but im sure we will get the hang of it! Start teaching tomorrow so will let u know how we get on nxt week! Started our afternoon projects today - we were both sports coaching which was quite hectic - bout 50 kids playing football!!! Was ace tho - all the kids just wanna hold your hand & join in!
Goin back for tea now - our house is good - everyone we are livin with are really nice & we do a few activities etc in evnings & weekends! Anyway, best be off as we are dying of thirst! Spk soon! Missing u all!

Nice to hear your having a great time, it sounds amazing. Makes going to work and asda seem a bit crap :) Chris teaching ? is that wise :) they probably speak better english than you do mate ha ha only joking. Really really glad to hear how well you are both doing already, can't wait to hear from you again. City played ok against Villa On sunday, just didn't look like scoring again. we started with Mpenza and elano up front. They looked proper rubbish, bianchi came on @80 mins a looked awsome don't know why he doesn't start. The good thing was that we didn't look like conceeding, we are now 2nd in behing liverpool. Still ahead of scummy man u :) Speak to you both soon. Dan
