Day 7 - Day 6 of tour

Drove from Queen Elizabeth Park to Lake Bunyonyi and stopped at Kabale along the way to pick up provisions. It was Sunday, and everyone was dressed up and attending church, and many stores were closed. We could hear singing coming from the church.

We made a quick stop at the supermarket and was extremely happy to find a cafe that served Americanos!!!

Arrived at our hotel at Lake Bunyonyi (Bunyonyi Overland Resort) and we were given the option to upgrade from tents to permanent tents or cottages. The cottages were quickly sold, so we upgraded to a permanent tent (no ensuite washroom). It was fantastic; the tent was furnished with beds, side table and a light bulb. We had a private balcony overlooking the late with a gorgeous view!

We relaxed for the rest of the day and washed our clothes. BTW, the upgrade was only $56 for 4 nights and was worth it and I highly recommend it!
