Took a morning flight from Kilimanjaro airport to Nairobi, Kenya and then caught a connection to Entebbe. The one thing on my mind was the Israeli rescue operation years ago in Entebbe. During our lunch stop at Mbarara, I found a singing religious gathering and stopped in for a tune.

Arriving back from Bwindi I snapped this on the streets of Kampala.

Pinapple power

Two men push a cart of pinapples up the hill in Entebbe. The polution and dust in the city is so strong it cast a haze on the photo.

Daniel...from Thailand

I thought once I left Asia I would not bump into anyone I had met there in Africa. I was wrong as I see Daniel in Uganda after we first met on the boat to Phi Phi.

Downtown Kampala

A busy intersection in downtown Kampala. Notice the large number of minivans which are the main means of public transportation in the area.

Internet-ing in Kampala

At the Garden City mall in Kampala I find a civilized internet cafe to enjoy cake and coffee while updating my blog.

Laundry

While the rest of the group went on a game drive, I used the morning to do laundry and dried clothes using the powerful African sun.

A croc opens his mouth to relieve himself of heat as we float by.

Chimp Trekking

Our group hikes through the forest in search of Chimps. We found some but my camera was not good at capturing them.

As we make our way back to Kampala, we pass this road shop.

As we stop for gas, this wee one stares at Claire.

The kids love to stare as the van full of Muzugo (white people) drives by.
