the second day

Hey people out there,
yes I write you once again. Our former plan has been changed. We will stay here in Bulenga for our work. Joeri will be working on a swamp area to make a forest out of it and I can work in a medical center in Kampala. Today we were on both places and we will really have interesting times there. In the area there will be so much work and in the hospital... you can't imagine. It has nothing to do with an hospital in our countries. It's..I will take pictures to show you! I talked to the doctor about what I'm supposed to do there (I hope I'll find the vains/venen in the black skin...) I have seen the operation room. An old chamber with a table a a few lights. I was really shocked. The patient rooms were more than full and wow, I will tell you more about tomorrow. The most important thing is to be careful of "blood-things".
Today we were two times in Kampala and we saw a lot of funny and crazy things I'll tell you tomorrow...
In the evenings we ate in a very rich house (much more than a normal house in Europe have, really amazing. An other problem are the mosquitoes. I already have so many bites although I'm using the spray and the mosquitonet. Hmm, today I'll try an other spray..
I'm tired now. We'll "see" us tomorrow..

Hey ihr Leute da draußen,
ja, ich schreib schon wieder;-).Unser Plan hat sich geändert, falls wir einen Plan gehabt haben. Wir bleiben hier in Bulenga. Joeri wird hier in nem Sumpfgebiet ein eigenes Waldstück anpflanzen und ich kann in einem medizinischen Zentrum, einer Klinik in Kampala arbeiten. Heut haben wir beide Plätze besichtigt und ich muss sagen, dass ich mich darauf freue, in der Klinik zu arbeiten, denn dort gibt es wohl einiges zu tun. Es hat mich schon umbehauen die "Krankenzimmer" und den Untersuchungsraum zu sehen..ach, ihr könnt euch ja die Bilder anschauen. Ich habe dem Doktor dort gesagt, was ich mir so vorstelle, was ich dort so machen kann und wir haben auch gleich ausgemacht, wann es losgehen soll. ( Ich hoffe nur, dass ich die Venen bei der dunklen Haut gut finde;-)) Das Schockierenste war doch der OP. Ein altes Zimmer mit einer Liege darin, ein paar Lichter und einen Ablegetisch für das Operationsbesteck. Die Patientenzimmer waren überfüllt und hier und da haben Kakalaken ihren Weg durch den Raum gesucht. Das wichtigste ist doch mit dem Blut aufzupassen, dass man nicht ausversehen irgendwie mit den Blut anderer in Berührung kommt.
Heute waren wir in Kampala und waren abends in einem superschönen und megagroßen Haus, oder soll ich besser sagen in ner Villa, zum Essen eingeladen. Ich habe noch nie so n Hammers Haus hier in Europa gesehen!
Die Mosquitos haben sich zu einem ziemlichen Problem rausgestellt, denn scheinbar ist mein Blut so süß, dass ihnen das bisschen Mosquito- Stray nix auszumachen scheint. Ich hab echt schon nach dem ersten Abend richtig viele Stiche bekommen. Vielleicht sollte ich ein anderes Stray ausprobieren. Haben ja genug Unterschiedliche.
