SAFARI!!!!!

hey all. we just got back from our first safari in northern uganada. the park was called murchison falls national park. there were sooo many animals! it was amazing to see them all sooooo close. however on the way there we had a lot of problems that eventually put us almost 48 hours behind schedule. our roof rack fell apart and had to be fixed then we blew a tire then we blew a shock then we went in the wrong direction for 70 km. so it was a nightmare getting there but was all worth it in the end. heres a list of the animals we got to see on the game drives:
-baboons
-elephants
-lions
-hippos
-crocodiles
-water buffalo
-warthog
-monkeys
-lots of birds of all shapes and sizes
-mongoose
-giraffes
-lots of deer-like animals

theres lots more im sure but i cant remeber them all!! we were literally feet away from 2 mother lions and their 9 little cubs. it was sooo amazing to see up close. same with the giraffes....there was one time when we werel litterally surounded by them on all sides! at night when we were in our tent we could hear the hippos all around us walking past our camp site which was soooo amazing! i think thats about it from this weekend...were setting off to head to a town called jinja to go white water rafting on wednesday. should be pretty cool rafting 9-5 down the nile! ive gotta remeber to buy some croc repelant!!
