So far so good. My visa will be done by tomorrow. Other than that I had an ordeal trying to get back to my hotel, but it was my fault. I confused the “Palm Beach” with the “Coco Beach” hotels. Awesome supper! Well mostly the desert! No problems yet in Lome as Lonely Planet sure made this place seem sketchy. We’ll see.

In the summer of 2007 I backpacked through North and West Africa. Flying from London's Luton Airport I arrived in Morocco on the 14th of May, 2007. In mid-September I caught a Air Ghana Flight from Accra, Ghana to London - Gatwick. During these four months I passed through nine countries, winding my way from Marrakech to Accra. Question about getting a visa?
Hi Eddy, I understand you will only have very limited time on the internet, but I was wondering if you could let me know how long a visa extension took to get hold of (am hoping for 45-60day one), and did you get an immediate 7day visa on entry to country, I'm hoping to fly out over the next 3weeks and trying to figure out the amount of time for visa chasing, hope your enjoying your trip best regards Joe
