Question: What is the current structure/Government in this country/region? Who has power, and how do those in power interact with their people?

The country is Tanzania has a two tier government system called the central and local government. Tanzania's government systems goes back into the pre-colonial days . Tanzania's local government has both political and economic phases. There government system provides a services the help people in their areas. The government believes being close to their citizens is very important. This country does not have a dictator and is not in a war currently. Jakaya Kikwete is the 4th president of Tanzania .he has the power and he has been the leader of Tanzania since 2005

According to this article ,the government of Tanzania is not strict. The government seem like it care about their citizen and allow their people to have freedom.I think Tanzania local government is a lot like the united states, For example, people of Tanzania are able to express their different religions and culture like the U.S. Also both country are not in war and doesn't have a dictator, only a president. I think that this government is protective, but also gives citizens their freedom.
