The next leg of my adventure started when I met my fellow Overlanding travelers in Nairobi on Sept 26. This started the largest part of my trip. We were extremely lucky to see this leopard. He was in an acacia tree right next to the road.

This was an incredibly lucky spotting. This lion used our vehicle after we stopped to get closer to a mother gazell and her baby just across the road.

The lion is using our vehicle to get closer to two gazelles across the road. She is looking around the back of our vehicle at them.

After sizing up the gazelles from behind our vehicle, she took off after her supper.

An amazing sight, and one of the highlights of my trip was watching one of nature's brutal laws - kill or be killed.
