Our made to order breakfast of eggs, potatoes, grilled tomatoes, homemade bread and jams, yogurt, crepes, granola, fresh fruits (papaya!), cheeses, coffee/tea/juice and more.... The setting and climate couldn't have been better too.

When this hippo grill was first put in the camp, at night the hippos came out of the river and attacked it. There are still holes in it's belly showing their attack.

The rangers coat these flags with insecticide to attract and kill the tsetse fly, which are notorious for being attracted to the colors of blue and black.

Tanzanian bushmen boil the poisonous roots from this plant and coat their arrows with it.

He easily started a fire with 2 sticks rubbed together and a bit of kindling underneath

Mom pounced and caught this unsuspecting hare. The first of her 3 cubs to get to it won the prize.
