Again the guys went fishing early this morning. I was generally enjoying my sleep-ins and lazy days. After breakfast I went for a walk along the beach. Today started off as another grey, overcast day. It was low tide. There were quite a few cars parked on the beach. I wonder how the guys were going with their fishing. So far, they have not had much luck!

I had a little look in the rock pools. Here I saw a many little fish, shells and crabs. During my walk along the beach the sun did break through the clouds. I lay down on the sand and did some reading for about an hour. I then walked back to the chalet for a snack.

Heidi then got a message from the guys that they were on their way back. Heidi, Daleen and I walked down to the beach to meet them. We saw their boat approaching the shore.
The guys were very happy with this morning's fishing. They came back with 2 Bonitos and 1 Dorado. The guys then cleaned the fish and boats.

After lunch we slowly started to pack our things which were spread out all over the chalet.

Unfortunately Paul and I had to leave tomorrow morning, we had to drive to Johannesburg and then back to Madikwe. We didn't want to go back to work, especially now as the weather and fishing were improving. Our friends were begging us to stay, but as it was month end - I had to be on duty on the 30th as it was my role to due the many stocktakes at the lodge.

The evening we had another amazing meal, part of the meal was the Dorado fish that they caught today.
