Hi all out there in your comfy homes, well we are getting used to living in buksie and enjoying it, the stress levels have dropped a lot since we arrived here at chappies, We will be leaving at the end of april and be traveling up the west coast slowly, not that we can go fast, buksie wont allow that. There is no turning back now.. the house is packed up and empty and we are setting up and unpacking Buksie at Chapman's Peak Caravan Park in Noordhoek, our home for the next few weeks. Who would've thought we could squeeze so much stuff in one vehicle in so little time? The next few weeks will serve as a test run for what we 'really need' and what we can live without. By nightfall we were both absolutely knackered and looking forward to our first night's sleep on our big adventure. Morning broke, and to our surprise...so did the clouds! Hi All, well the time is almost here for our trip from capetown to cairo and possibly in to europe . we will be leaving our house this coming weekend and staying at chapmens peak caravan farm for a month just to test every thing and see what we have forgotten at home like we usually do. will keep you updated. cheers Nick and Wanda.... read more

Back to school today...hoorah! And we actually mean that. We enjoyed seeing the children again and were overwhelmed by their continued positivity towards us. So this tied us up until lunchtime when we got back and tried to plan our afternoon's adventures. We started by driving to the chemist to check that the welts on Hannah's arms are not anything to worry about. It turns out that all they are are an extreme reaction mosquitoe bites and not somethng poisonous that might cause serious damage (i.e. a Hannah-eating Spider, which was the first thought)!!! So after that adventure and a bag full of antihistamine products we headed back to Chill and Surf to collect our mad American friend for a trip to Table Mountain.
