My last trip as cabin crew was a favourite of mine!!!! We had very little time but still managed to see some amazing things! We went on a tour to Cape Point (the most Southernly part of Sout Africa) and on the way we went on a little boat ride to a little island called Seal Island. The rock island is covered in hundreds of Seals!!!! It was amazing to see!! On the way to Cape Point we passed through very wealthy areas of Cape Town with stunning views and houses! Its winter in Africa but the weather was perfect! We also went through a town called Llandudno where Elton, Madonna and Simon Le Bon own houses, though it was funny as my Mum was born near there but the Welsh Llandudno!!!! Not so exotic although very nice!!! We also past the island were Nelson Mandella was imprisoned and also a high security prison where he was for some of his time too. You can do tours to the island and the tour guides are ex prisoners which sounds amazing! We also saw wild baboons just walking along the side of the road!!!!! We got to Cape Point which is a national park and saw an Ostritch and went up in a little tram type thing to the point! The view was fantastic!!! Then we went to a place called Boulders to see pengiuns hanging out!!!! Never been that close to them before!!! You can also do wine tasting tours but we didnt have time to do that!!! There is one of the best desert wines made in South Africa so would love to go back for a holiday!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
