St Lucia

Got up early again to have a cruise down the estuary to watch for hippos and crocodiles. We weren't disappointed as we saw both. Thankfully the rain had stopped and it was a beautiful morning. Following this we had a great game drive with a wonderful guide who showed us not just animals but plants and insects. The strangest were the red locusts and flying dung beetles!!

We then travelled down to the Indian Ocean.The sea was quite rough but some of us chose to jump up and down over the surf. I had a go at body boarding which was a great experience being pulled along with the tide.

We then had lunch overlooking the ocean surrounded by monkeys who wanted to take our lunch!

At about 8pm we had a night safari which included drinking hot chocolate in the bush! I didn't expect to do this nor need to wear my woolly hat as it got a bit chilly.
