For 6 days we had been on an average height of about 1700 metres where it gets a bit chilly in the evening. Not so in Durban - it was definitely a different climate. But nice for a change for us, for sure! We navigated through the highway to our accomodation in Durban North. We had opted for a room a bit out of town, because we ... read more

Sunday was a typical morning, waking up at about 8 am to eat scones and prepare for church. The park consists of different attractions, the most popular one is the dolphin show which is absolutely remarkable!!The show is very educational, teaching young and old about the importance of recycling, and how dangerous certain items like plastic can cause these majestic animals to either get very sick or die as they swallow them by wanting to play with them. They also have the Seal Show and the Penguin and Shark feeding times yet again its an awesome experience full of fun:).. Ushaka also offers shark dives, snorkel lagoon, the ocean walker and the meet a dolphin experience...The oceanarium itself is built underneath an old shipwreck AMAZING!!! A must see for all...You could spend hours just sitting and taking in all this under water beauty AN EXPERIENCE LIKE NO OTHER.... ... read more
